Green Space Design Guideline for New Town Development

나라가 발전함에 따라 도시의 형태는 수도권 과밀, 주택난, 부동산 가격 폭등 등으로 인해 주거 문제를 해결하기 위해 개발되고 변화해 왔다. 그 과정에서 사회의 변화에 따라 직주 근접, 숲세권, 컴팩트 도시 등의 선호도 또한 다양해지면서 환경적인 인프라의 중요도가 높아졌다. 사회 환경적인 면에서도 신도시 설계에서 필수적인 녹지설계 방향 중심으로, 도시적 맥락에서의 도시 형태와 선호환경의 변화를 알아본다.1980년대 후반에서 시작된 1기신도시부터 IMF 이후의 2기 신도시, 그동안의 신도시 개발과정을 겪으며 보완된 3기 신도시 계획안 순으로 점차 발전된 신도시의 건축을 녹지 설계 중심으로 알아보고 그 시대의 정책과 지향점도 함께 파악한다. 더 나아가 3기신도시 이후의 4기, 혹은 미래의 신도시에서 녹지와 같은 환경적인 부분이 어떠한 영향을 끼치고 어떻게 변화할지 예측해본다.

This study explores the development of new towns, starting from the first-generation new towns of the late 1980s, the second-generation towns following the IMF crisis, and the third-generation plans that addressed the shortcomings of earlier developments, all with an emphasis on green space design. It also examines the policies and objectives of each era. Furthermore, predictions are made regarding how environmental aspects, such as green spaces, may influence and evolve in fourth-generation or future new towns beyond the third-generation developments.
