Objectives : This study aims to suggest new guidelines to Korean Medicine education using the Flipped Learning LLM. Its influence on reinforcing self-directed learning along with academic proficiency and satisfaction were analyzed. Methods : Mixed research methodology was applied, wherein qualitative and quantitative analysis were combined. Research subjects were 20 undergraduate students taking the Donguibogam course, whose academic proficiency and satisfaction were assessed using the Likert scale. In qualitative analysis, open-end questionnaire was applied to analyze the balance between previous Korean Medicine education and AI based pedagogics. Results : Flipped Learning and LLM were effective in increasing academic proficiency and satisfaction. Learners replied that understanding of concepts and self-directed learning were both improved, and that AI based feedback increased learning efficiency. However, some raised issues of information credibility, and the need for support in advanced learning. Conclusions : We were able to confirm the potential for innovating Korean Medicine education using Flipped Learning and LLM. The learning process needs to be shifted to learner-based, and securing information credibility, along with the integration of AI and traditional pedagogics were emphasized.
