고려 문인 權近은 '遼東八站-山海關-京杭大運河-淮南-登州-遼東水路-遼東八站'의 노선을 따라 明나라를 왕래하며 기행시집 『奉使錄』을 남겼다. 權近의 籍貫地理는 현재 한국 이천시 양아리에 위치하며, 그의 活動地理 내에서 이루어진 記錄式 창작은 『奉使錄』의 사료적 가치를 더욱 부각시킨다. 『奉使錄』에 수록된 한시를 면밀히 고찰한 결과, 산수에 대한 세밀한 묘사와 깊이 있는 통찰을 기반으로 한 權近의 독창적 창작 특성이 명확히 드러난다. 한시에 나타난 지리적 이미지는 在場 지리적 이미지를 중심으로 구성되며, 不在場 지리적 이미지는 이를 보완하는 보조적 역할을 한다. 이러한 在場과 不在場 지리적 이미지의 상호작용은 한시 텍스트에서 權近의 '家園-他鄉(本土-異域)'이라는 이원적 공간 구조를 형성한다. 이는 權近의 '華夷不分'적 天下觀을 반영할 뿐만 아니라, 고대 동아시아 문화에 대한 정체성과 전승 의식을 드러내는 데 기여한다.

The Goryeo poet Kwon Geun traveled extensively to the Ming Dynasty along the routefrom 'Liaodong Eight Stations - Shanhaiguan - Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal- Nanjing, from Dengzhou to Liaodong Water Road - Liaodong EightStations', leaving behind a collection of travelogue poems titled Bongsarok. Kwon Geun is believed to have originated from Yangari, Icheon City, Korea. Hisliterary works, as recorded within the geographical context of his travels, lend the book significant historical and cultural reference value. The poeticcreation in Bongsarok was deeply influenced by Kwon Geun's temperament, which was characterized by a keen ability to describe and resonate withmountains and rivers, reflecting the combined impact of his birthplace and the geography of his travels. The geographical imagery in thepoetry primarily relies on the presence of such imagery, with both present andabsent geographical elements in the text interacting with one another. This interaction forms a spatial binary structure of Kwon Geun's 'home-otherplaces(local-foreign land)' and a worldview that transcends distinctions between Hua(華) and Yi(夷) cultures. Additionally, his works reflect a sense ofidentity with the geopolitical cultures of East Asian.
