한의학 교육 현장은 복수의 존재인식론이 병존하며, 경합하고, 협상하는 비교철학의 장이다. 이것은 의철학의 이슈일 뿐만 아니라 교육 현장에서 교육의 내용과 성과를 위해서도 논의해야 하는 실제적인 문제이기도 하다. 이 논문은 2000년 이후 본격적으로 진행되고 있는 포스트휴머니즘의 이론을 배경으로 한의학 교육 현장의 복수의 존재인식론에 접근한다. 복수 기원의 지식들이 혼재해 있는 한의대 본초학 교육은 복수의 존재인식론 논의를 위한 의미 있는 예시를 제공한다. 존재인식론적 지평들의 차이를 고려하며, 본 논문은 복수의 형이상학들 간의 외교를 제안한다. 이중-존재인식론 구사자 양성을 위해 각각의 존재인식론에 대한 논리를 이해할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 논리에 대한 논의는 한의대 교육에서 의철학의 역할이 될 것이다.
The field of Korean medicine education serves as a comparative philosophical arena where plural onto-epistemologies coexist, compete, and negotiate. This is not only a matter of the philosophy of medicine; it is also a practical concern that must be addressed to enhance educational outcomes in the field. Since 2000, discussions of post-humanism has advanced actively, providing a theoretical framework for tackling these challenges. This paper aims to situate these possibilities within the context of Korean medicine education, thereby engaging with issues surrounding plural onto-epistemologies. Specifically, the components and properties of medicinal herbs—which are central to the herbology curriculum of Korean medicine—are examined as significant examples for illustrating plural onto-epistemologies. By considering the differences among various onto-epistemological horizons, this study proposes a “diplomacy” among plural metaphysics. To cultivate practitioners capable of dual metaphysical engagement, it is essential to understand the respective logics of each onto-epistemology. In exploring these logics, this paper focuses on the role of philosophy of medicine within Korean medicine education.
