간호대학생의 전공만족도와 진로준비행동 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과

Mediating Effect of Self-Efficacy in the Relationship Between Major Satisfaction and Career Preparation Behavior Among nursing student

본 연구는 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 확인하고, 진로 관련 교육 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. 연구대상은 일개 지역 간호대학 재학생 124명으로 2023년 4월 18일부터 28일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 일반적 특성에 따른 전공만족도는 학년(F=4.57, p=.005), 지원 동기(F=2.28, p=.046), 희망 진로(F=7.27, p=.001)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 자기효능감은 학년(F=4.49, p=.005), 지원 동기(F=2.88, p=.038)에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 자기효능감은 전공만족도(r=.32, p<.001), 진로준비행동(r=.42, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 전공만족도와 진로준비행동(r=.46, p<.001)간에도 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 확인되었다. 또한, 자기효능감은 전공만족도와 진로준비행동 간의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, Sobel test 결과를 통해 이를 뒷받침하였다(Z=2.67, p=.007). 이에 간호대학생의 진로준비행동을 강화하기 위해서는 전공만족도와 자기효능감 증진을 위한 체계적인 교육 프로그램이 필요하다.

This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between major satisfaction and career preparation behavior among nursing students and to provide foundational data for improving career-related education. The study participants consisted of 124 nursing students from colleges in a single region, with data collected from April 18 to 25, 2023. The results indicated that major satisfaction significantly differed by grade level (F=4.57, p=.005), application motivation (F=2.28, p=.046), and desired career path (F=7.27, p=.001). Self-efficacy also showed significant differences based on grade level (F=4.49, p=.005) and application motivation (F=2.88, p=.038). Additionally, self-efficacy was positively correlated with both major satisfaction (r=.32, p<.001) and career preparation behavior (r=.42, p<.001). A significant positive correlation was also found between major satisfaction and career preparation behavior (r=.46, p<.001). Furthermore, self-efficacy was found to partially mediate the relationship between major satisfaction and career preparation behavior, as supported by the Sobel test results (Z=2.67, p=.007). To enhance the career preparation behavior of nursing students, a systematic educational program is needed to improve both major satisfaction and self-efficacy.
