From the perspective of the new era, the development of various fields in China has also entered a critical period, the world is in a great change unseen in a century, and the exchanges and integration between the political, economic, cultural and other fields of various countries are also deepening, and at the same time, the diversified social trends of thought have also brought impacts and challenges to the ideological concepts of college students and the ideological and political education of colleges and universities. Colleges and universities have achieved certain results in influencing the ideological and political education of college students, but they are also facing difficulties. By understanding the adverse effects of social trends of thought on college students, this article has strengthened our awareness of consolidating and defending the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field, and we must use our own socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics for a new era to guide the ideological path of college students and improve the level of ideological and political education of college students.

新时代视角下，我国各领域发展也进入了关键时期，世界正处于百年未有之大变局，各国的政治、经济、文化等多领域之间的交流与交融也不断深入，与此同时多元化的社会思潮对大学生的思想观念和高校思想政治教育工作也带来了冲击和挑战。高校在社会思潮对于大学生思想政治教育的影响工作方面取得了一定的成效，但也面临着困境。文章通过了解社会思潮对大学生带来的不利影响，更加坚定了我们对于巩固和捍卫马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位，必须用我们自己的新时代中国特色社会主义思想指导大学生的思想路径，提升大学生的思想政治教育水平。
