구·문어 DCT를 활용한 학업적 맥락에서의 한국어 요청 화행 수행 양상 연구 - 담화 환경에 따른 요청 전략과 표현을 중심으로

A Study on Korean Request Speech Acts in Academic Contexts Using Oral and Written DCTs: Focusing on Request Strategies and Expressions Across Discourse Environments

The purpose of this study is to examine the performance patterns of request speech acts in academic contexts among native Korean speakers, focusing on differences across discourse environments. The Oral Discourse Completion Test (ODCT) and Written Discourse Completion Test (WDCT) were employed. The study analyzes the frequency and positioning of request speech act strategies and expressions used to realize these strategies. Results show that preferred strategies and their positioning vary according to discourse context, despite conveying the same request content. Expressions used to realize request strategies also differ across discourse environments. These findings suggest that learners must consider discourse environment when selecting and structuring request speech acts. This research provides a foundation for future studies and serves as a practical resource for Korean language teaching and learning.
