한국어 학습에서 생성형 인공지능 활용에 대한 인식 연구 - 중국어권 한국어 전공자와 비전공자 간의 대조를 중심으로

A Study on the Perception of Using Generative AI in Korean Language Learning: A Comparative Analysis of Chinese-Speaking Korean Majors and Non-Majors

The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of Chinese-speaking Korean learners regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) for Korean language learning and to examine the learning effects and limitations they experience. To achieve this, a survey and in-depth interviews were conducted with two groups: Korean majors and non-majors. The survey investigated each group’s experiences with GAI, their perceptions of its learning effects, and the limitations they encountered. In-depth interviews provided detailed cases for qualitative analysis of GAI’s learning effects. The results revealed that the Korean major group primarily used GAI for academic writing and grammar correction but highlighted limitations in its accuracy for advanced grammar and specialized terminology. Meanwhile, effectively utilized GAI for basic vocabulary acquisition and practical conversational practice but noted limitations in providing cultural and contextual feedback. This study proposes improvements to enhance the effectiveness of GAI in Korean language learning, emphasizing the importance of integrating cultural context and personalized feedback mechanisms. Furthermore, it explores potential applications of generative AI in Korean language education and provides foundational data for the future development of AI-based learning tools.
