진주 교방 포구락의 전승과 민속예술적 가치

Tradition of Jinju Gyobang Pogurak and Folk Art Value

이 연구는 진주 교방의 포구락이 권번과 현대로 전승되는 변모의 과정과 무형유산으로서의 민속예술적 가치를 조명하는 것이 목적이다. 궁중 포구락이 진주 교방에 전파된 내용은 정현석의 『교방가요』를 통해 확인할 수 있다. 포구락은 진주 교방 최순이를 통해 진주권번으로 계승되었지만 광복 이후 일시적으로 단절되었다. 그러나 최순이의 제자 이윤례가 생존해 있었고, 이윤례에게 춤을 사사받은 성계옥의 복원을 통해 1991년 경상남도 무형문화재로 지정되었다. 진주 교방의 포구락은 의상, 춤, 음악, 놀이적 요소에 있어 진주지역의 민속문화와 융합되었다. 진주의 포구락은 활쏘기와 같은 의례에 놀이춤으로 공연되면서 점차 민속예술로 발전되었다. 진주포구락무는 고려의 당악이 교방문화로 수용되고 3세대 계승자들에 의해 창조적으로 변화된 민속예술로서의 가치를 지니고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to illuminate the folk and artistic value of the intangible heritage as the pogurak of Jinju Gyobang has been inherited to Gwonbeon and modern times. The spread of the royal pogurak to the Jinju Gyobang can be confirmed through Jeong Hyeon-seok's 』 of 『 Gyobang songs. This pogurak was inherited to the Jinju Kwonbeon through Choi Soon-yi of Jinju Gyobang, but was temporarily cut off after liberation. However, Choi Soon-yi's student, Lee Yun-rye, was alive, and through the restoration of Jinju's Seonggyeok, who was taught to dance by Lee Yun-rye, it was designated as Gyeongsangnam-do Intangible Cultural Property in 1991. The pogurak of Jinju Gyobang was combined with the folk culture of the Jinju area in terms of costumes, dance, music, and play elements. Jinju's pogurak gradually developed into a folk art as it was performed as a play dance for rituals such as archery. Jinju pogurakmu has a value as a folk art in which Goryeo's Dangak was accepted as a Gyobang culture and was creatively changed by the third generation of successors.
