의사결정나무모형을 활용한 청소년의 삶의 만족도에 대한 예측요인 탐색

Exploring predictive factors for adolescents’ life satisfaction using decision tree model

본 연구는 청소년의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 탐색하기 위해 의사결정나무모형과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하였다. 연구는 경상북도 내 중학교 5개교에 재학 중인 1,716명의 학생들을 대상으로 수행되었으며, 부모양육태도, 교사와의 관계, 친구관계, 사회정서역량 등을 주요 독립변인으로 설정하였다. 분석은 SPSS 28.0과 Stata 16.0을 활용하여 이루어졌으며, 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 의사결정나무모형, 로지스틱 회귀분석 등을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 의사결정나무모형에서는 사회정서역량 중 자기인식(자기개념)이 삶의 만족도에 가장 중요한 요인으로 확인되었으며, 부모양육태도 중 따뜻함과 자율지지, 친구관계, 그리고 자기관리(목표관리)와 (정서조절)도 주요한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났다. 로지스틱 회귀분석에서는 부모양육태도(따뜻함(OR=1.700), 자율지지(OR=1.549)), 교사와의 관계(OR=1.508), 친구관계(OR=1.893), 사회정서역량 중 자기인식(자기개념)(OR=1.646)과 자기관리(정서조절(OR=1.365), 목표관리(OR=1.279))가 삶의 만족도를 유의미하게 예측하였다. 이 연구는 청소년들의 삶의 만족도를 향상시키기 위해 가정과 학교에서 제공하는 사회적 지지 및 사회정서역량 개발의 중요성을 강조하며, 이를 위한 교육적·정책적 개입 방안을 제시한다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 지역과 연령대를 포함한 종단적 연구를 통해 보다 일반화된 결과를 도출할 필요가 있다.

This study utilized decision tree model and logistic regression analysis to explore the major factors affecting adolescents' life satisfaction. The study was conducted with 1,716 students attending five middle schools in Gyeongsangbuk-do. SPSS 28.0 and Stata 16.0 were used to perform descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, decision tree model, and logistic regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the decision tree model confirmed that self-awareness (self-concept) among social-emotional competencies was the most important factor in life satisfaction. In logistic regression analysis, parenting attitudes (warmth (OR=1.700), autonomy support (OR= 1.549)), relationships with teachers (OR=1.508), relationships with friends (OR=1.893), and self-awareness (self-concept) (OR=1.646) and self-management (emotion regulation (OR=1.365), goal management (OR=1.279)) among social-emotional competencies significantly predicted life satisfaction. This study suggests a direction for improving life satisfaction of adolescents.
