스마트팩토리 고도화 도입의도 영향 요인 탐색 - TOE 프레임워크를 중심으로

Exploring Factors Influencing the Intention to Introduce Advanced Smart Factory : Focused on Technology, Organization, Environment Framework

4차 산업혁명 기술의 발전에 따라 전 세계적으로 디지털 전환이 가속화되고 있으며 국가 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 노력이 이어지고 있다. 독일, 미국, 일본, 중국 등 주요 선도국들은 스마트팩토리를 적극적으로 채택하고 있으며, 한국 정부도 2014년부터 중소·중견기업을 대상으로 스마트팩토리 보급 및 확산 사업을 추진해왔다. 2022년 말까지 총 30,144개 업체를 지원하며 양적 목표를 달성했으나, 많은 기업이 MES, ERP 등 기초적인 솔루션 도입에 머물러 있으며 질적 고도화는 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 정부는 기초단계에서 벗어나 스마트팩토리가 고도화되어 운영될 때 지속 성장하게 될 것으로 판단하여 지능형 스마트 제조혁신 생태계 고도화 방안을 발표하였다. 즉, 제조기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 스마트팩토리의 고도화 단계로의 전환에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 스마트팩토리 기초단계 이상의 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 고도화 도입의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 기술적 요인(상대적 이점, 호환성, 사용 용이성)은 사용자 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 사용자 만족도는 도입의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 조직적 요인(경영자 의지, ICT 활용 역량) 또한 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 환경적 요인 중 정부 지원은 도입의도에 영향을 미친 반면, 재정 능력은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 연구는 스마트팩토리 초기 도입단계의 요인이나 개별 고도화 기술에 초점을 맞추었으나, 본 연구는 기술적, 조직적, 환경적 관점에서 스마트팩토리 고도화 도입에 관한 새로운 통찰을 제공하며 실무적·학술적 의의를 제공한다.

With the rapid progress of the 4th industrial revolution, digital transformation is accelerating globally, and countries such as Germany, the United States, Japan, and China are actively adopting smart factories. Since 2014, the Korean government has promoted smart factory adoption among SMEs, supporting 30,144 companies by the end of 2022. However, many remain at the basic stage, implementing only fundamental solutions such as MES and ERP, with insufficient qualitative advancement. To enhance manufacturing competitiveness, transitioning to advanced smart factories is essential. This study surveyed companies beyond the basic level to analyze factors influencing their intention to advance. The results indicate that technical factors, including relative advantage, compatibility, and ease of use, positively impact user satisfaction, which, in turn, influences the intention to advance. Organizational factors, such as the manager’s commitment and ICT capability, also have a significant effect. Among environmental factors, government support positively affects the intention to advance, while financial ability does not show a significant impact. Previous studies have primarily focused on the early adoption stage of smart factories or individual technologies. In contrast, this study provides new insights into the transition toward smart factory advancement, contributing both academically and practically by identifying key factors influencing further implementation.
