Meditation has recently gained attention as an intervention for adolescents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of integrative healing meditation on stress, self-determination, and interpersonal satisfaction in high school students with high levels of physical tension indices (10 or higher) and psychological distraction indices (1 or higher) on the quantitative electroencephalogram. This study was conducted during December 2023 after obtaining approval from a high school in S city. The intervention consists of a day-long program for adolescents to participate in the integrative healing meditation that includes singing bowl, tea, and breathing meditation. Data were collected through structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and paired t-test using SPSS 29.0 WIN Program. The results of the study showed that stress significantly decreased from a mean of 26.94±3.87 points before the intervention to a mean of 24.88±4.60 points after the intervention (t=2.771, p=.014) and interpersonal satisfaction significantly increased from a mean of 93.20±14.77 points before the intervention to a mean of 95.20±15.15 points after the intervention (t=-2.160, p=.049). These findings provide a basis for developing integrated meditation-based interventions to promote stress, self-determination, and interpersonal satisfaction among adolescents with high levels of physical tension and psychological distraction.
