<바리공주> 교과서 수록 양상과 역량 중심 서사 교육의 유용성 - 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정을 중심으로

<Princess Bari> Textbook Inclusion Aspect and The Usefulness of Competency-Based Narrative Education of Bari : Focusing on the 2022 revised Korean language curriculum

이 연구는 한국신화(서사무가) 바리공주의 교육적 활용에 집중하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 바리공주의 서사무가적 특징과 현대적 재해석으로 매체 변용을 살펴보고, 한국신화 중 바리공주가 지닌 교육적 유용성을 핵심 역량을 중심으로 추출하였다. 바리공주가 교육과정에 유입된 시기는 7차 개정 교육과정기였다. 그 후 국어교육에서 바리공주의 영향력이 확장되었는데, 이는 바리공주가 다양한 매체 콘텐츠로 재생산된 것과 무관하지 않다. 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정은 학습자의 자기 주도성을 강조하고 미래형 학습을 제공하는 방향으로 고시되었으며, 주요 핵심 역량을 설정하였다. 본 연구는 왜 바리공주가 국어 교과 내용으로 급부상했는지를 탐색하고, 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정과 관련지어 바리공주의 교육적 유용성을 핵심 역량과 관련지어 네 가지로 제안하였다. 이 제안은 앞으로 바리공주를 무엇으로 혹은 어떻게 교육 내용으로 활용할 수 있는지를 알기 위한 서사 교육의 기초가 될 것이다.

This study focuses on the educational use of the Korean myth (narrative shaman song) Princess Bari. To this end, we examined the narrative shaman song characteristics of Princess Bari and the media transformation through modern reinterpretation, and extracted the educational usefulness of Princess Bari among Korean myths based on core competencies. Princess Bari was introduced into the curriculum during the 7th revised curriculum period. After that, the influence of Princess Bari in Korean language education expanded, which is not unrelated to the fact that Princess Bari was reproduced as various media contents. The 2022 revised Korean language curriculum was announced to emphasize learners’ self-directedness and provide future-oriented learning, and set major core competencies. This study explored why Princess Bari suddenly emerged as a Korean language curriculum content, and suggested four educational usefulness of Princess Bari in relation to core competencies in relation to the 2022 revised Korean language curriculum. This proposal will serve as the basis for narrative education to know what or how Princess Bari can be used as educational content in the future.
