러시아어 정태/부정태 동사의 시간성(Темпоральность)의 의미 분석: 현재 및 과거 시제를 중심으로

A Study on the Temporality of Russian Determinate/Indeterminate Verbs: Focus on the Present and Past Tense

본 연구에서는 러시아어의 정태와 부정태 동사의 의미적 특성 중 하나인 시간성(Темпоральность)을 체계적으로 분석한다. 기존 연구에서는 정태/부정태 동사의 의미적 특성 가운데 방향성에 초점을 맞추어 왔으나, 이들의 의미를 보다 정확히 이해하기 위해서는 시간성을 함께 고려할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 현재와 과거 시제에서 정태/부정태 동사가 나타내는 시간적 의미 유형을 비교하고, 시간성, 방향성 및 공간성 사이의 상호작용을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 정태 동사는 현재 시제에서 [+동시성]을 주로 나타내며, 과거 시제에서는 [-실제성]을 나타내는 경향이 있음을 확인하였다. 반면, 부정태 동사는 시제와 상관없이 주로 [-실제성]을 나타내며, 이때 이동의 방향적 특성이 의미 형성에 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 분석을 통해 본 연구는 정태/부정태 동사의 의미 체계 내에서 시간성의 중요성을 재조명하며, 각 동사의 의미적 특성에 대한 심층적 이해를 돕는 데 기여한다.

This study analyzes the temporal characteristics of determinate and indeterminate verbs of motion in Russian to identify their semantic differences in expressing movement. While previous research has primarily focused on directionality, this study systematically examines temporality as one of the core semantic categories. By comparing the temporal semantic types of determinate and indeterminate verbs in the present and past tenses, this study explores the interaction between temporality, directionality, and spatiality. The findings indicate that determinate verbs primarily exhibit [+Simultaneity] in the present tense and tend to exhibit [-Actuality] in the past tense. In contrast, indeterminate verbs consistently exhibit [-Actuality] across tenses, with their directional characteristics playing a pivotal role in the expression of movement. This research reexamines the role of temporality in the Russian verbal system, contributing to a deeper understanding of the semantic properties of determinate and indeterminate verbs.
