중국 SF영화 <로봇8호>의 인공지능 캐릭터 신체 재현

본 연구는 중국 SF 영화 <로봇 8호>(2023)에 등장하는 인공지능(AI) 캐릭터를 분석한다. 첫째, 인공지능 캐릭터의 외형, 성별, 언어 표현, 행동 등의 신체적 요소를 통해 영화가 중국 영화의 전통을 어떻게 계승하고 있으며, 이를 통해 긍정적이고 영웅적인 주인공의 모습을 어떻게 재현하는지 탐구한다. 둘째, 주동적 인물과 반동적 인물로 설정된 인공지능 캐릭터의 신체 재현 방식을 분석하여, 이들이 형성하는 정체성의 문제를 고찰한다. 특히, 두 유형의 캐릭터가 보여주는신체 언어와 감정 표현을 비교·분석함으로써, 중국 SF 영화의 서사적 맥락 속에서 인공지능 캐릭터의 자기 정체성과 캐릭터 적응 방식에 대한 이해를 심화한다. 이를 통해 로봇 8호 속 인공지능 캐릭터가 남성 영웅성을 강조하며 강인하고완전한 존재로 형상화된 반면, 반동적 인공지능 캐릭터는 욕망에 의해 사악한 지배를 받는 타자화된 여성 이미지로 재현되었음을 밝힌다. 이러한 신체 재현 방식은 단순한 캐릭터 설정을 넘어, 중국 사회의 문화적 맥락 속에서 인공지능 캐릭터의 존재에 대한 의식과 인식을 반영하고 있음을 시사한다.

This study explores the artificial intelligence characters of the Chinese science fiction film Robot No. 8 (2023). First, we examine how the film represents the appearance of a positive and heroic protagonist by inheriting the tradition of Chinese film through the body of the artificial intelligence character, gender, language expression, and behavior. Second, it explores the problem of identity through the body representation of the main and reaction character artificial intelligence characters. Through the analysis of body language and emotional expression of these two types of characters, it is possible to better understand their self-identity and character adaptation in the background of Chinese science fiction films. Through this, the artificial intelligence character in the Chinese science fiction film Robot No. 8 is a cultural consciousness that represents the power and completeness of a heroic man, and the reaction artificial intelligence character reproduced the image of another woman who is evilly dominated by her own desire. It is revealed that it expresses the perception of the existence of artificial intelligence characters in the cultural context of Chinese society. This body representation expresses the consciousness and perception of the existence of artificial intelligence characters in the social and cultural context of China to some extent.
