일부 지역 보육교사의 영유아 구강보건교육 내용별 요구도 및 우선순위 분석

Analysis of Infant & Toddler Oral Health Education Needs and Borich Priority of Child Care Teachers in Some Regions

Objectives: The purpose of this work is to determine priorities for oral health educational content by analyzing the gap between knowledge level and education requirement level in child care centers teachers. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled by 120 teachers that work at child care center in Gyeongnam from June to July, 2024. 112 questionnaires were analyzed, excluding 8 insincere responses by SPSS ver 21.0. Results: The common educational topics identified in both the analysis of educational needs and the prioritization of educational content were primarily related to harmful habits, including ‘methods for correcting harmful habits’, ‘oral changes caused by harmful habits’, and ‘types of harmful habits’. Conclusions: Based on these findings, this study holds significance as it provides foundational data for creating a manual that enables childcare teachers to deliver high-quality oral health education to infants and young children.
