This study empirically analyzes the awareness of the culture of Third Front Construction among Sichuan universities through literature research, survey, and field interviews. It summarizes the experiences that universities do not publicize the history of the Third Front Construction enough, university students have a high of recognition of the culture, there are significant differences in the value orientations of university students, and universities do not pay enough attention to the culture. Five specific suggestions are put forward: institutional guarantee, emotional incentive, value identification, emotional edification, and value orientation correction. The innovation of the study lies in integrating the inheritance of the culture in universities into the practice of cultural education, such as the inheritance of Chinese culture and socialist core values education, to make up for the singularity of the culture.
