In the wave of digital transformation, the integration of culture and tourism has become a key strategy to enhance the competitiveness of cultural products and optimise tourism experience. The article analyses the application of digital technology in the integration of culture and tourism, covering augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, as well as the influence of mobile applications and social media. It is argued that digital technologies have achieved remarkable results in enhancing user experience and promoting industrial upgrading, but challenges remain in technical implementation, industrial synergy, data security and privacy protection. The article proposes to build a smart tourism platform, digital content creation and distribution, personalised tourism services and the construction of cultural and tourism industry ecology and other innovative paths, to promote resource sharing and synergistic innovation, stressing the importance of management mode innovation, systematic thinking and practical exploration of technology application, industrial governance and management innovation of cultural and tourism integration in the digital era, to promote the sustainable development of the cultural industry and the tourism economy, and to better Service in the highquality development of digital culture and tourism integration.
