This study introduces an innovative integration model that infuses Guangcai porcelain motifs into the design of modern Lingnan botanical dyeing garments, enhancing both cultural heritage and aesthetic appeal. Our approach bridges the gap between traditional art and contemporary fashion, revitalizing the craft of Guangcai porcelain with fresh expressions. Through pattern analysis, we deconstructed and reconstructed Guangcai motifs, aligning them with the practical needs of botanical dyeing garment design. This involved extracting elemental patterns, simplifying lines, and adjusting chroma and contrast to fit modern tastes. The integration of these motifs not only enriches the cultural narrative of the garments but also provides a viable strategy for preserving traditional crafts in the modern market. Our findings underscore the practical significance of this integration model for the sustainable development of both Guangcai motifs and Lingnan botanical dyeing techniques, offering a competitive edge in the global fashion industry and promoting China's rich cultural legacy.
