관점 확장을 위한 교수-학습 방법 연구 : 이상적 역할채택에 대한 하버마스의 논의를 중심으로

Teaching-Learning Methods for Expanding Perspectives Centered on Habermas’s Discussion of Ideal Role-Taking

하버마스는 도덕성의 발달 단계에 따라 관점이 확장된다는 콜버그의 논의를 관점의 구조라는 틀로 분석하고, 콜버그가 제시한 “이상적 역할채택”을 담론윤리적으로 해석한다. 본 연구에서는 콜버그에 대한 하버마스의 논의를 고찰하고, 관점의 확장을 위한 교수-학습 방법을 제언하고자 한다. 관점의 확장을 위한 교수-학습 방법은 다음과 같은 순서로 진행된다. 먼저 도덕적 규범의 갈등 상황이 내포된 문제 상황을 제시한다. 다음으로 복수의 당사자들 입장에서 이야기를 만들어 타당성을 검토해 본다. 마지막으로 보편화 원칙에 의거하여 도덕적 판단을 내리는 것이다. 관점의 확장을 위한 교수-학습 방법은 학생들이 도덕적 문제를 폭넓은 시각으로 논의하고 해결해 나갈 수 있도록 하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Habermas critically examines Kohlberg's theory of the expansion of perspectives across stages of moral development through the conceptual framework of perspective structures, and reinterprets Kohlberg's notion of “ideal role-taking” within the context of discourse ethics. This study reviews Habermas' critique of Kohlberg and proposes a pedagogical approach aimed at fostering the expansion of perspectives. The proposed teaching-learning method unfolds in the following sequence. first, a moral dilemma characterized by conflicting norms is introduced. Next, the validity of different perspectives is evaluated by constructing narratives from the viewpoints of multiple stakeholders. Finally, moral judgments are formulated in accordance with the principle of universalization. This approach to expanding perspectives in teaching and learning can support students in engaging with broader discussions and resolving moral issues more comprehensively.
