Research on the Musical Presentation and Artistic Value of Historical Themes in the Guzheng Concerto “The King of Western Chu”

古筝协奏曲《西楚霸王》中历史题材的音乐呈现与艺术价值研究

[Background] This article takes the Zheng concerto “The King of West Chu” as the research object, and explores the application of historical themes in contemporary Zheng creation and its artistic value. [Objective] This study aims to reveal the presentation of historical themes in music by analyzing the creative background, musical structure, and performance techniques of the works. [Method] Composer He Zhanhao skillfully integrated historical elements from the “Xiang Yu Biography” of the “Historical Records” into his music creation, and through the unique playing techniques of the guzheng, such as shaking, pressing, and vibrato, he portrayed the heroic image of Xiang Yu and the heroic scene of the Battle of Gaixia. [Results] The study focused on analyzing the musical portrayal of historical figures, the musical representation of historical scenes, and the integration of musical language and historical narration. This fusion not only enriches the repertoire of the zither, but also enhances the cultural connotation of the works. [Conclusion] The study also explored the artistic value of the fusion of historical themes and zither works, pointing out that this innovative form is of great significance for inheriting and promoting traditional Chinese culture. The research in this article provides a deeper understanding of the works for the zither players, opens up new ideas for the music creators, and provides a reference for promoting the innovative development of traditional Chinese music in the new era.

【背景】本文以古筝协奏曲《西楚霸王》为研究对象，探讨历史题材在当代古筝创作中的运用及其艺术价值。 【目的】通过分析作品的创作背景、曲式结构和演奏技法，揭示了历史题材在音乐中的呈现方式。 【方法】作曲家何占豪巧妙地将《史记·项羽本纪》的历史元素融入音乐创作，通过古筝独特的演奏技法如摇指、按滑音、颤音等，塑造了项羽的英雄形象和垓下之战的壮烈场景。 【结果】研究重点分析了历史人物的音乐刻画、历史场景的音乐再现，以及音乐语言与历史叙事的融合。这种融合不仅丰富了古筝曲目，也提升了作品的文化内涵。 【结论】研究还探讨了历史题材与古筝作品融合的艺术价值，指出这种创新形式对传承和弘扬中国传统文化具有重要意义。本文的研究为古筝演奏者提供了更深入的作品理解，为音乐创作者开拓了新思路，也为推动中国传统音乐在新时代的创新发展提供了参考。
