허가형 블록체인과 공개형 블록체인간 토큰증권의 상호 운용 방안에 관한 연구

A Study on the Interoperable Method of Security Tokens Between Permissioned and Public Blockchains

블록체인 산업의 성장으로 정부 차원의 블록체인 활용 방안에 관한 논의가 최근 많이 진행되었다. 대표적으로 실물 자산인 RWA(Real World Asset)를 토큰화하여 증권으로 취급하는 토큰증권과 중앙은행이 발행하는 디지털화폐인 CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency)에 대한 연구가 정부와 민간에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 토큰증권은 국내 많은 증권사에서 시범 구축을 완료한 상황으로 실제 개시를 위해 법률 개정만 기다리고 있는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 토큰증권 시스템의 특성을 살펴보고 이를 허가형 블록체인과 공개형 블록체인간 상호 운용하기 위한 방안을 제시한다.

With the growth of the blockchain industry, recent discussions have increasingly focused on the adoption of blockchain technology at the government level. Notably, research on security token standards, which classify real-world assets (RWAs) as securities, and central bank digital currencies(CBDCs), digital currencies issued by central banks, is being actively conducted by the government and private sectors. In particular, pilot projects for security tokens have been completed by many domestic securities companies, and their actual implementation now awaits legal revisions. This study examines the characteristics of security token standards and proposes a method for enabling interoperability between permissioned and public blockchains.
