Integrating the Spirit of Gaming into Music Education for Senior Universities : Opening a New Chapter in Music Learning for the Silver Generation

融合游戏精神的老年大学音乐教育—开启银发族音乐学习新篇章

With the intensification of China's population aging trend and the in-depth implementation of the “Healthy China 2030” Plan, elderly education has become a significant issue in social development. As the primary form of elderly education, universities for the elderly play a crucial role in enhancing the physical and mental health of older adults and enriching their spiritual lives through music education. However, the current music education in these universities faces challenges such as monotonous curriculum design, insufficient teaching resources, and varying levels of student proficiency, making it difficult to fully meet the diverse needs of the elderly. In this context, integrating the “spirit of gaming” into music education for the elderly not only aligns with the national policy direction of “ensuring the elderly have access to education, learning, opportunities for contribution, and enjoyment” but also provides innovative ideas for the development of elderly education models. The author believes that the purpose of elderly individuals learning music is not to achieve a specific goal but to enjoy the happiness brought by the process of learning music. Therefore, by incorporating the essence of the “spirit of gaming” into music classroom teaching at universities for the elderly, it can help older adults voluntarily, proactively, and joyfully participate in music learning.

随着我国人口老龄化趋势的加剧以及《“健康中国2030”规划纲要》的深入实施,老年教育已成为社会发展的重要议题。老年大学作为老年教育的主要形式,其音乐教育在提升老年人身心健康、丰富精神生活等方面发挥着重要作用。然而当前老年大学音乐教育仍面临课程设置单一、师资力量不足、学员程度不一等问题,难以充分满足老年人多元化的需求。在此背景下,将“游戏精神”融入老年大学音乐教育,不仅符合国家“老有所教、老有所学、老有所为、老有所乐”的政策导向,也为老年教育模式的创新提供了新的思路。笔者认为老年人学习音乐的目的不是为了某个目标,而是为了享受学习音乐的过程中所带来的快乐,那么通过“游戏精神”的内涵,在老年大学音乐课堂教学中倡导“游戏精神”能够帮助老年人自愿自觉、积极主动、愉悦快乐地去参加音乐学习。
