일본 아스카 지역의 ‘기토라 고분 천문도’는 언제 어디서 제작된 것일까?

일본 아스카 지역‘기토라 고분 천문도’의 제작 연도는 AD100년경으로 얻어졌고 제작 위치는 북위 36.1°와 북위 34.0°두 곳으로 얻어졌다. 이 천문도의 제작 위치가 두 곳이 된 까닭은 정확도 높은 내규로 얻은 위치는 북위 36.1°부근인 백제 웅진-사비지역으로 얻어졌고 외규 부근의 밝은 노인성으로 얻은 위치는 북위 34.0°아스카 지역으로 얻어졌기 때문이다. 이를 해석해 보면 백제 지역에서 제작된 천문도가 백제의 관륵 등 천문도 전수자에 의해 아스카 지역으로 전수된 후 아스카 지역에서 밝게 보이는‘노인성’을 관측한 후 이를 추가하여 완성한 것으로 추정된다.
