미용 분야의 AI 융합교육 활성화를 위한 교육현황 분석

A Study on the Current Status of Education for the Promotion of AI Convergence Education in the Beauty Sector

In order to promote AI convergence education in the beauty field, this study collected the opening of AI convergence curriculum and curriculum of 48 four-year beauty colleges nationwide and identified the current status of each field. When looking at the distribution of beauty colleges by region, 10 universities in Chungcheong area, 7 in Gyeongsang area, 6 in Seoul and Jeolla area, and 5 in Gyeonggi and Gwangju area were the most common. There were 4 in Busan and 1 in Jeju Island. As for the AI convergence curriculum, Gwangju showed the highest percentage with 40%, and a total of 25 AI courses were identified for each subject. In other universities, education was not reflected in AI education class plans or subject names and was being used as content for graduation works, exhibitions, and classes. Some schools reorganized their education, but more schools did not. Educational content is classified into hair, aesthetic, makeup, beauty education, and beauty industries. As it is focused on educational goals and specific fields, we mainly focused on AI creative convergence education and beauty courses. However, considering the shortcomings of educational programs related to hair beauty education, the need to develop more diverse AI convergence education programs is clear. AI convergence education is expected to continue to expand and become a cornerstone of beauty-related education, leading the development of IT convergence curriculum in line with the knowledge-oriented information age.
