전문대학 여학생의 공감역량, 학교자부심, 우울이 중도탈락의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 구조적 관계 분석

Analysis of structural relationships among compassion competence, school pride, and depression and drop out intention of female college students

연구목적: 전문대학생의 중도탈락률은 일반대학생의 2배 이상으로 매년 증가하고 있다. 이에, 본 연구는 전문대학 여학생의 공감역량, 학교자부심, 우울, 중도탈락의도 간의 구조적 관계를 밝히는 데에 목적을 두었다. 연구방법: 서울 H여자전문대학교 167명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시한 후, 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구모형을 만들어 분석하고 변인 간 관계를 확인하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 공감역량은 학교자부심과 우울을 매개로 중도탈락의도에 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 학교자부심과 우울은 공감역량와 중도탈락의도 간의 관계를 완전매개하였다. 논의: 전문대학 여학생의 중도탈락의도를 낮추기 위해 공감역량 함양 뿐만 아니라 학교자부심을 높이고, 우울 감소를 위한 구체적인 개입이 필요함을 시사한다.

Purpose: The dropout rates among college students are more than twice that of general universities and are increasing annually. The purpose of this study was to clarify the structural relationship between the empathy competency, school pride, depression and dropout intention of female college students. Method: After conducting an online survey of 167 people at H Women's University in Seoul, a research model was created and analyzed based on previous studies, and the relationship between variables was confirmed. Results: First, empathy competency had a significant influence on dropout intention through school pride and depression. Second, school pride and depression completely mediated the relationship between empathy competency and dropout intention. Conclusion: In order to lower the dropout intention of female college students, it suggests that specific interventions are needed not only to cultivate empathy, but also to increase school pride and reduce depression.
