Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture in the New Era: Value Connotations, Current Challenges, and Improvement Paths

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture, as an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture, plays an irreplaceable role in inheriting national wisdom, enhancing national cultural soft power, and building cultural confidence. However, the current development of TCM culture, while demonstrating its profound historical heritage and unique value, also exposes practical issues such as insufficient research depth, a single mode of dissemination, and poor integration with modern life. To overcome these challenges, a multidimensional approach is needed that includes interdisciplinary collaboration, creative transformation and innovation, industrial integration, and the enhancement of international communication capabilities. This systematic and multi-layered development framework for TCM culture can provide both theoretical support and practical guidance for the modernization and sustainable transmission of China’s excellent traditional culture.

中医药文化作为中华传统文化的重要载体，在传承民族智慧、提升国家文化软实力和构建文化自信方面具有不可替代的作用。但当前的中医药文化发展既彰显了深厚的历史底蕴和独特价值，也暴露出研究深度不足、传播方式单一及与现代生活衔接不畅的现实问题。为破解现有困境，应通过多学科协同、创造性转化与创新、产业融合及国际传播能力建设等多维路径，构建一个系统、立体的中医药文化发展体系，为中华优秀传统文化的现代化传承与持续发展提供理论支撑和实践指导。
