퇴직 중장년 재취업자의 기대임금과 실질임금의 격차 영향 요인 분석

An Analysis of Factors Influencing the Gap between Expected and Actual Wages among Reemployed Middle-Aged Retirees

본 연구는 중장년층 조기 퇴직 이후 재취업 시 발생하는 임금 격차의 영향요인을 분석하였다. 특히 인적자본이론을 중심으로 기대임금과 실제 임금 간의 차이가 어떠한 요인에 의해 설명되는지를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 40세 이상 60세 미만의 퇴직 후 재취업한 중장년층 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 총 268개 응답을 받아 다중회귀분석을 실시했다. 분석 결과, 성별, 학력, 직무 분야가 기대 임금과실제 임금 모두에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 여성은 남성보다 기대 임금과 실제 임금이 모두 낮았으며 대학원 졸업 이상의 학력은 모두 높게 나타났다. 기대임금과 실제 임금의 격차를 분석한 결과 성별, 연령, 학력이 영향을 미쳤고 중장년 재취업 임금에주요하게 영향을 주는 요인으로는 성별과 학력인 것으로 나타났다. 임금 격차는 남성의 경우 격차가 높았고 여성과 고령일수록 임금의수준이 비슷해 격차가 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 중장년층의 재취업 시 임금 격차를 완화하기 위해서는 성별에 따른 지원 정책과 고령자에 대한 일자리 정책이 필요성과 고학력 중장년층에 대한 재취업 임금과 관련된 연구가 필요함을 시사한다.

This study analyzes the factors influencing the wage gap that arises when middle-aged individuals reenter the workforce after early retirement, with a particular focus on human capital theory. Specifically, it explores how the gap between expected and actual wages can be explained by various factors. A survey was conducted with 268 reemployed individuals aged between 40 and 59, and multiple regression analysis was performed. The results indicate that gender, educational attainment, and occupational field significantly affect both expected and actual wages. Women reported lower expectations and actual earnings than men, while individuals with a graduate-level education showed higher wage levels. Regarding the wage gap between expected and actual wages, gender, age, and education were significant factors. Gender and education emerged as the primary influences on reemployment wages. The wage gap was wider among men, whereas women and older individuals tended to have smaller gaps due to similarly low expected and actual wages. These findings suggest the need for gender-specific employment support policies, targeted job creation strategies for older workers, and further research on reemployment wages among highly educated middle-aged individuals.
