中国音乐教育史学科发展历程——访马东风教授

Development of the Discipline of Chinese Music Education History: An Interview with Professor Ma Dongfeng

Editor’s Note: Professor Ma Dongfeng, former Dean of the School of Music at Jiangsu Normal University, is a doctoral supervisor who has dedicated 45 years to teaching. Upholding the educational philosophy of “a teacher must be morally upright and academically accomplished,”he has mentored thousands of students, including dozens of nationally renowned scholars. Professor Ma has compiled and authored 13 textbooks, including Theories and Research Methodologies in Music Education, Introduction to Music Pedagogy, and the three-volume Fundamental Music Theory Textbook. He has led eight national and provincial-level research projects, receiving 22 academic awards, among them the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Award. As one of the pioneers in the field of “History of Chinese Music Education,” Professor Ma has written 15 monographs, including Historical Essays on Pre-Qin Music Education Philosophy, Research on the History of Music Education, and Theory and Practice of Music Education. He has also published nearly one hundred academic papers, such as On the Origins of School Music Education. Not only has he delved deeply into the study of the history of music education—providing the academic community with a rich body of theoretical support—but he has also actively advanced innovation and development in music education practice. The educational philosophy advocated by Professor Ma emphasizes the cultivation of students’ comprehensive qualities and creative abilities, highlighting the interdisciplinary integration of music with the humanities and sciences. His work has made significant contributions to the improvement and development of China’s music field of music education, thereby enhancing the global presence and influence of Chinese music education.

编者按:马东风, 原江苏师范大学音乐学院院长、教授、博导,从教45 年来,坚守“学高为师,身正为范”的教学理念,教授学生数以千计,全国知名学者数十人。马东风教授编著教材13 部,主要有《音乐教育理论与科研方法论》、《音乐教育学概论》、《基本乐科教程》(三卷本)等;完成国家级、省部级科研项目8 项,曾获得教育部人文社科二等奖等22 项。作为“中国音乐教育史”学科的拓荒者之一,马东风教授著有《先秦乐教思想史论稿》《音乐教育史研究》《音乐教育的理论与实践》等专著15 部,发表《论学校音乐教育的起源》等学术文章近百余篇。他不仅深耕音乐教育史研究,为学界提供了丰富的理论支撑,还积极推动音乐教育实践的创新与发展。他倡导的音乐教育理念注重培养学生的综合素质与创新能力,强调音乐与人文、科学的交叉融合,为我国音乐教育体系的完善与发展做出了重要贡献。此外,马东风教授还积极参与国际音乐教育交流与合作,提升了我国音乐教育在国际舞台上的影响力。
