The Law of Profitability, Depression and the Future of Capitalism: Michael Roberts’ Reinterpretation of Marxist Crisis Theory

After examining the economic crisis that the world’s major economies have experienced over the past century, Roberts believes that the Long Depression is completely different from the Recessions in economic crisis. The formation of the Long Depression can be explained by Marx’s Law of Profitability, thereby defending the Marxist theory of capitalist economic crisis.
