특수교육학개론 수업이 예비중등교사의 통합교육인식, 장애이해, 교수학습 인식변화에 미치는 효과

The Effect of an Introduction to Special Education Course on the Perception of Pre-Service Secondary Teachers on Inclusive Education, Disability Understanding, and Teaching and Learning

연구목적 이 연구는 특수교육학개론 수업이 예비중등교사의 통합교육인식, 장애이해, 교수학습 인식변화에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 조사 연구로 수행되었다. 연구방법 이 연구는 특수교육학개론 수업을 수강한 대학생 98명을 대상으로 수행되었으며, 수집된 설문 자료는 대응표본 t 검증과 일변량 분석방법에 기초하여 처리하였다. 연구결과 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교육학개론 수업은 예비중등교사의 통합교육인식, 장애이해, 교수학습 인식변화를 견인하는 주요 요인이었다. 둘째, 가족 구성원 내 장애인 유무, 학창 시절 통합교육 경험 유무, 장애인 봉사활동 유무 변인도 통합교육인식, 장애이해, 교수학습 인식변화에 영향을 미치는 주요 배경변인이었다. 결론 이 연구에서는 특수교육학개론 수업이 예비중등교사의 특수교육과 관련된 인식변화를 견인할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다. 또한 장애 관련 배경 및 경험이 통합교육 등의 인식변화에 영향을 제공하는 주요 요인임을 제안하고있다.

Purpose This study was conducted as a survey research to find out the effect of the Introduction to Special Education coure on inclusive education, understanding of disabilities, and changes in the perception of teaching and learning of pre-service secondary teachers. Method The questionnaire was administered to 98 college students(pre-service secondary teachers) who took the Introduction to Special Education course. The questionnaire data were subject to t-test for pre- and post-test and univariate analysis for analysis of covariance. Results The Introduction to Special Education coure was a major factor in driving the changes in the perception of inclusive education, understanding of disabilities, and the teaching and learning of prospective secondary teachers. and the presence of people with disabilities in the family, the presence of inclusive education experience during school, and the presence of volunteer work for the disabled were also major background variables that affected the changes in the the pre-service secondary teachers’ perception of inclusive education, understanding of disabilities, and teaching and learning. Conclusion This study suggests that the Introduction to Special Education course plays a decisive role in changing the perceptions of pre-service secondary education teachers related to special education.
