Research on Tsering Norbu’s Works from the Perspective of Forging the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation

Forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation is a core component of the ethnic theory under socialism with Chinese characteristics and reflects the shared aspiration of all ethnic groups for a better life. As a renowned contemporary writer, Tsering Norbu vividly portrays the spiritual journey of the Tibetan people amid modernization. His works, encompassing themes such as cultural integration along the Ancient Tea Horse Road, resistance to external cultural influences, ecological wisdom, and youth education, provide rich literary resources for studying the sense of community for the Chinese nation. This paper explores the significance of the Ancient Tea Horse Road as a space for multicultural integration, the Tibetan people’s cultural awareness and resistance to aggression, the collectivist humanistic care in community mutual aid, and the role of education and identity in the interplay between cultural inheritance and modernization. Tsering Norbu’s works not only embody the profound connotations of the sense of community for the Chinese nation but also serve as vital artistic practices for safeguarding national unity, ethnic solidarity, and social stability.
