차별적 검사 기능 분석을 통한 컴퓨터 기반 검사의 양식 효과 연구

A Study on Mode Effects of Computer-Based Tests via Differential Test Functioning Analyses

본 연구는 차별적 검사 기능 분석을 통해 컴퓨터 기반 검사와 지필 검사 간 양식 효과를 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 초등학교 5학년과 고등학교 1학년을 대상 으로 한 국어 평가 데이터를 활용하여 델타 플롯 방법을 통해 양식 효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 초등학교 국어 시험에서는 일부 문항에서 컴퓨터 기반 검사가 더 유리한 것으로 나타났으나, 고등학교 국어 시험에서는 양식 효과가 확인되지 않았다. 이는 학년별 디지털 환경 적응 차이에서 기인한 것으로 해석될 수 있다. 본 연구는 향후 컴퓨터 기반 검사 도입 시 평가의 공정성을 확보하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study examines the mode effects of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and Paper-Based Tests (PBT) using differential test functioning analysis. The study analyzes Korean language assessment data from 5th-grade elementary and 10th-grade high school students, applying the delta plot method to detect mode effects. The results indicate that some items in the elementary test favored the CBT format, whereas no significant mode effects were found in the high school test. These findings suggest differences in digital adaptation across grade levels. This study provides foundational insights for ensuring fairness in transitioning to CBT-based assessments.
