張家山漢簡 『盜跖』篇 注解와 考釋 - 현행본『장자·도척』과의 비교를 중심으로

Annotation and Textual Analysis of the ‘DaoZ hi’ in the Zhangjiashan Bamboo Slips of Han Dynasty

본 논문은 1983년 중국 호북성(湖北省) 장가산(張家山)에서 출토된 장가산한간(張家 山漢簡) 『盜跖』의 문헌 특징을 분석, 현행본 『장자·도척』편과의 비교를 통해 출토본의 특징과 가치를 조명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 『盜跖』편 간문 (簡文)의 석독(釋讀)과 번역 그리고 주석을 차례로 싣는다. 아울러 본 논문은 제4장에서 『장자』에서 ｢도척(盜跖)｣편이 어떤 위상을 차지하는지에 대해 기존 『장자』연구와 함께 비판적으로 검토해 볼 계획이다. 張家山漢簡 『盜跖』편은 현행본과 비교해 편장 구조에 있어 뚜렷한 차이를 보인다. 한 예로 현행본 ｢도척(盜跖)｣편의 ‘子張問 於滿苟得曰’ 이하 후반부가 출토본에는 부재한다는 점이 특징적인데, 이는 『장자』문헌의 편집 및 전승 과정에서 발생한 변화를 시사하며, 초기 『장자』문헌 연구에 중요한 자료적 가치를 제공한다. 요컨대 본 연구는 출토문헌을 활용한『장자』연구의 가능성을 제시하고, 기존 문헌 연구와의 접점을 모색하고자 한다.

This study examines the textual characteristics of the DaoZhi (盜跖) chapter found among the Zhangjiashan Bamboo Slips of Han Dynasty (張家山漢簡) excavated in 1983 in Hubei, China. It provides a comparative analysis between the excavated text and the received version of Zhuangzi's DaoZhi chapter, highlighting its textual position and significance. The paper first investigates the role of DaoZhi within Zhuangzi and then analyzes textual variations between the Han bamboo slip version and the traditional text. Through philological examination and translation of the bamboo slip text, this study expands the scope of existing research and explores the early textual formation of Zhuangzi. The DaoZhi chapter from the Zhangjiashan slips exhibits notable structural divergences from the received version, most evidently in the absence of its latter sections. These discrepancies point to substantial editorial interventions and transformations in the textual transmission of the Zhuangzi. Additionally, linguistic and stylistic variations reflect evolving modes of philosophical engagement over time. Through the inclusion of excavated manuscripts, this study offers fresh insights into the early formation of Zhuangzi thought and highlights the importance of manuscript sources in reconstructing the intellectual and literary contours of early China.
