As the country deepens its efforts in ideological and political education (IPE) within higher education institutions, university foreign language teaching, as an important platform for cultivating students 'international perspectives and cultural confidence, bears the dual responsibility of integrating knowledge transmission with value guidance. This paper, based on a review of relevant research both domestically and internationally, analyzes the necessity of incorporating IPE elements into university foreign language teaching under the current educational context. It highlights the urgent need to expand the educational function in foreign language classrooms, shape students' values, and enhance cultural confidence in a globalized environment. Focusing on the characteristics of university foreign language teaching, the article explores effective pathways for integrating IPE elements, including redefining teaching objectives, optimizing textbook content, and innovating teaching methods. It also proposes targeted implementation strategies, such as enhancing teachers' IPE literacy, designing diversified teaching activities, and improving evaluation mechanisms. Finally, through summarization, the paper emphasizes that the integration of IPE elements in university foreign language teaching should adhere to systematic design, gradual progress, and tailored instruction, providing reference and support for the practical reform of IPE in university foreign language courses.

随着国家对高校课程思政建设的不断深化,大学外语教学作为培养学生国际视野与文化自信的重要平台,承担着融通知识传授与价值引领的双重任务。本文在梳理国内外相关研究成果的基础上,分析了在当前教育背景下思政元素融入大学外语教学的必要性,指出外语课堂中育人功能拓展、学生价值观塑造及全球化语境下文化自信提升的紧迫需求。围绕大学外语教学特点,文章探索了思政元素有效融入的路径,包括教学目标重构、教材内容优化与教学方法创新等,并提出了针对性实施策略,如教师思政素养提升、多元化教学活动设计和完善评价机制。最后,通过归纳总结,本文强调大学外语教学中思政元素融入需坚持系统设计、循序渐进与因材施教,为推动大学外语课程思政改革实践提供了参考依据和路径支持。
