Lev.Ⅲ 방탄복 착용자에 대한 소총의 적정분산도 연구

The Proper Dispersion of Assault Rifle for Lev.Ⅲ Body Armor Wearers

현대전장은 다양한 개인보호장비가 구비되어 전투원의 생존성이 높아지고 있다. 특히 Lev.Ⅲ 방탄복은 피아 구분없이 일반화되고 있으며, 이를 고려하지 않은 근접전투에서는 적을 제압하기가 대단히 어려워지고 있다. 2022년 시작된 우-러 전쟁에서 쌍방 모두 방탄복을 입고 있지 않는 경우를 찾아보기 힘들며, 10여년 전 미국의 아프가니스탄 전쟁에서도 가난한 탈레반조차 저렴한 중국제 Lev.Ⅲ 방탄복을 착용하고 전투하였다. 따라서 근접전투에서 Lev.Ⅲ 방탄복은 상수가 되었으며, 이를 고려하지 않은 소총은 전투시 충분한 화력을 발휘하기 어렵다. 이 연구는 이러한 문제 인식을 바탕으로 Lev.Ⅲ 방탄복을 착용한 적을 상대하는데 필요한 적정수준의 소총분산도를 제시하였다. 이를 통해 소총개발에 필요한 분산도의 기준과 개발방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The modern battlefield is equipped with a variety of personal protective equipment to increase the survivability of combatants. In particular, Lev.Ⅲ body armor is becoming common without distinction, and it is becoming extremely difficult to subdue an enemy in close combat without considering it. In the U.S.-Russia war that began in 2022, it is hard to find a case where both sides are not wearing body armor, and even the poor Taliban fought with cheap Chinese-made Lev.Ⅲ body armor in the U.S. war in Afghanistan more than a decade ago. Therefore, Lev.Ⅲ body armor has become a constant in close combat, and rifles that do not take it into account cannot exert enough firepower in combat. Based on this recognition of the problem, this study proposes an appropriate level of rifle dispersion required to deal with an enemy wearing Lev.Ⅲ body armor. This study provides the criteria and development direction for the appropriate level of rifle dispersion.
