공업계고등학교 학생들의 생활지도 관련 문제행동 분석

Analysis of Problematic Behaviors Related to Student Guidance in Technical High Schools

본 연구는 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 생활지도와 관련된 문제행동을 분석하고, 학교 생활 부적응 문제를 개선하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 P시 H읍에 있는 우주공업고등학교 이해관계자를 대상으로 기초관찰조사, 집중관찰과 심층면담 기반 문화기술지 조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들은 교사의 엄격한 통제와 체벌에 대해 불만을 갖고 있으며, 교문 검사나 복장 규정 단속 같은 생활지도에 대해 반발 심리를 나타내는 경우가 많다. 일부 학생들은 등교 시 지도를 피하거나 문제행동으로 반항하기도 하며, 이는 학교 생활 부적응의 한 형태로 나타나고 있다. 특히, 학교에서 요구하는 규율과 규범을 학생들이 수용하기 어려워하며, 이는 교사와 학생 간의 관계 및 학생들의 가정환경과도 밀접하게 연결되어 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 학생들의 가정 환경에 대한 이해와 더불어 긍정적인 강화 방법을 활용한 지도, 지속적인 관심, 가족과 같은 보살핌이 필요하다. 교사는 학생들이 소외감을 느끼지 않도록 따뜻한 애정과 이해를 바탕으로 생활지도를 해야 하며, 이러한 노력을 통해 학생들의 부적응 행동을 감소시키고 건강한 학교 문화를 조성할 수 있을 것이다.

This study aims to analyze problematic behaviors related to the guidance of students in technical high schools and to seek ways to improve issues of maladaptation in school life. The results show that students express dissatisfaction with strict control and physical punishment from teachers, often demonstrating a rebellious attitude toward guidance measures such as dress code checks and gate inspections. Some students avoid guidance sessions upon arrival at school or exhibit oppositional behavior, which appears as a form of school maladaptation. Particularly, students find it challenging to accept the rules and norms required by the school, which is closely linked to teacher-student relationships and students’ family environments. To address these issues, it is essential to understand the students' family backgrounds and employ positive reinforcement techniques in guidance, along with sustained attention and care akin to that of a family. Teachers should base their guidance on warmth and understanding so that students do not feel isolated. Such efforts can reduce maladaptive behaviors among students and help cultivate a healthy school culture.
