A Scoping Review of Research Trends on Nursing Students’ Stress in South Korea “literature review within the scope of the topic”

Purpose: This study aims to analyze research trends on stress among nursing students in South Korea by systematically reviewing existing studies and identifying key stress factors. Methods: A scoping review was conducted on studies published between January 2015 and February 2025 using both international and domestic databases. The search was performed using keywords such as “nursing students,” “stress,” “research,” “trends,” and “analysis.” A total of 65 studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the final review. Results: The study identified academics, clinical practice, career anxiety, and interpersonal relationships as major sources of stress among nursing students, highlighting the necessity of effective stress coping strategy education. Conclusion: The development of effective stress management and psychological support programs is necessary, requiring an educational approach. Future research should focus on verifying long-term effects and developing tailored management strategies.
