서울시 장애인 지원주택 거주 발달장애인의 AAC 사용에 대한 서비스 지원인력의 인식 및 지원 요구

Perceptions and Needs of Housing Support Staff Regarding AAC Use by Residents with Developmental Disabilities in Supportive Housing in Seoul

본 연구는 장애인 지원주택에 거주하는 발달장애인의 AAC 사용에 대한 서비스 지원인력의 인식과 지원 요구를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 AAC를 사용하는 장애인 지원주택 세 곳에서 총 10명의 서비스 지원인력을 모집하였고, 선행연구를 기반으로 개발된 반구조화된 질문지를 사용하여 개별 면담과 집단 면담을 진행하였다. 전사 후 지속적 비교분석법으로 분석하였으며 총 5개의 대주제와 13개의 소주제가 도출되었다. 연구 결과, 장애인 지원주택 내 AAC 사용 실제, 발달장애인 입주자 대상 AAC 사용 시 서비스 지원인력에게 필요한 지식 및 태도, AAC 사용 효과, 장애인 지원주택 내 AAC 적용 과정에서의 어려움, AAC 사용 활성화를 위한 서비스 지원인력의 지원 요구를 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 AAC 활용의 폭 확대, 지원인력 대상 AAC 교육, AAC 접근성 향상을 위한 지역사회의 노력, AAC 조기 경험을 위한 노력의 필요성에 대하여 논의하였다.

This study explored the perceptions and needs of supportive housing staff regarding AAC use by residents with developmental disabilities. Individual and group interviews were conducted with ten staff members from three AAC-utilizing supportive housing facilities using a semi-structured questionnaire based on prior research. Data were transcribed and analyzed using the constant comparative method, resulting in five main themes and 13 sub-themes. The findings addressed AAC use, staff knowledge and attitudes, effects on residents, implementation challenges, and support needs. This study utilizes these survey results to discuss an identified need for systematic AAC training for staff, improved community accessibility, and early AAC exposure to enhance its implementation in supportive housing.
