Mao Zedong’s thought on labour education is a scientific theoretical system that incorporates and inherits Marx’s idea of combining labour and education, critically inherits the traditional Chinese view of labour, and provides scientific answers to social realities. The scientific connotation of Mao Zedong’s labour education includes the core of the subjectivity of human beings, the purpose of‘labouring intellectuals’ and ‘intellectualizing working people’, and the principles of adhering to the leadership of the Party and linking theory with practice. As youth labour education faces new problems in the new era, Mao Zedong’s thought on labour education continues to play an important and valuable role in fostering the spirit of labour, clarifying educational objectives, following the laws of education, and leading the development of labour education with the concept of integrating the “five educations”.

毛泽东劳动教育思想是对马克思关于劳动同教育相结合思想的吸纳传承,对中华传统劳动观的批判继承,对社会现实问题的科学解答的科学理论体系。毛泽东劳动教育的科学内涵包括人的主体性的核心、“知识分子劳动化”和“劳动人民知识化”的目的以及坚持党的领导和理论联系实际的原则。新时代青少年劳动教育面临着新问题,毛泽东劳动教育思想仍发挥着重要的价值作用,为培育劳动精神,明确教育目标,遵循教育规律,以“五育”融合理念引领劳动教育发展。
