Recently, a barge loaded with cargo allision with bridge pier in Mahakam River, Indonesia. From video footage provided by the authority we try to analyze the incident. From AIS data, we also measure and propose improvement to manage the future traffic by creating route. Mathematical Modelling Group (MMG) model were also used to further validate the route creation. The finding of this study become key input to the authority to enforce strict organization on the traffic.
