동일 항만 내 컨테이너터미널 간 타부두 환적은 추가적인 운송 비용과 시간 지연을 초래하며 항만의 경쟁력을 저하시키는 주요 요인이다. 특히, 부산항은 세계 2위의 글로벌 환적항만으로 컨테이너터미널 운영사들이 독립적으로 운영사들이 독립적으로 운영되어 타부두 환적의 효율적인 관리는 중요한 과제로 강조되어 왔다.
The Inter terminal transportation(ITT) between container terminals in the same port causes additional transportation costs and time delays. In particular, Busan Port is the world's second-largest global transshipment port, and the efficient management of ITT has been emphasized as an important task because the container terminal operators operate independently.
