재난피해자의 우울, PTSD 영향요인에 관한 연구

A study on factors affecting depression and PTSD of disaster victims

본 연구의 목적은 재난피해자의 우울 및 PTSD에 영향을 주는 요인을 검 증하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 국립재난안전연구원에서 제공하는 ‘2018년 재난 피해자 패널조사(3차년도)에 참여한 2,266명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 조사대상자의 성별, 연령, 학력, 가구 형태에 따른 우울과 PTSD가 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 재난피해자의 우울에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인은 사회재난, 재난 후 자산의 변화, 심리지원(6개 월), 사회적 지지로 나타났다. 셋째, PTSD에서는 우울에 관한 회귀분석 결과 와 유사했으나 심리지원(1개월 내)이 추가로 유의한 변수로 포함되었다. 본 연구결과는 재난심리지원의 시기와 사회적 지지를 고려한 심리회복지원이 재난피해자의 정신건강 증진에 기여함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine factors affecting depression and PTSD in disaster victims. This study utilized the ‘2018 Disaster Victim Panel Survey(wave 3)’ collected by the National Disaster Management Research Institute. there were 2,266 people participated in this survey. The main results of the study are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in depression and PTSD according to the gender, age, education, and household type of the subjects. Second, social disaster, changes in assets after disaster, psychological assistance(6 months), and social support were found to have a significant effect on depression. Third, PTSD was similar to depression but psychological assistance(within 1 month) was additionally confirmed as a significant variable. Based on the above results, this study proposed effective support measures to help disaster victims recover psychologically considering the timing of psychological assistance and social support.
