Strategies for the Growth of the Marine Tourism Industry through the Development of Healing Tourism Content Based on Marine Healing Resources

The purpose of this study was to suggest a plan for the growth of the marine tourism industry through healing tourism content using marine healing resources. As a result of reviewing the literature from this perspective, the first implications are to emphasize the need to utilize marine healing resources from the perspective of strengthening national competitiveness. Second, we must focus on nurturing marine healing experts suitable for promoting marine healing policy projects. Third, it is necessary to operate rehabilitation clinic programs related to marine healing multiple times for more than 3 days. As a result of considering these points, it was proposed to secure professional medical personnel, register health insurance, build lodging facilities within rehabilitation clinic facilities, and expand the number of users of the marine healing center.
