Purpose: This study's goal is to examine how GHRM, EMC, and CSR affect Indonesian coal firms' operational performance and environmental sustainability. Design/methodology/approach: Quantitative research methodologies are used in this study. An online survey was used to gather data. Findings: According to the results of the aforementioned study and debate, it can be said that GHRM positively affects ES, CSR significantly affects ES, MEC positively affects ES, GHRM positively affects BP, and CSR sig-nificantly affects ES. ES is significantly impacted by Impact Influence. Research limitations/implications: This study's limitation is that, because the data came from various managerial environments implementations, the findings might not apply to other nations and cultures. Originality/value: This study examines the influence of CSR, managerial environmental concern and GHRM, in the Indonesian context, so these results may differ if applied in different countries.
