교사소진에 관한 사상적 접근 ; 파머와 나딩스의 교육사상을 중심으로

A Philosophical Approach to Teacher Burnout: Focusing on the Educational Thoughts of Parker Palmer and Nel Noddings

이 논문은 교사소진의 요인에 대해 사상적으로 접근하여 원인과 해결책을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구자는 선행연구를 검토하여 교사소진의 요인을 찾고자 하였으며, 공적인 측면에서는 신자유주의와 개인주의를, 사적인 측면에서는 소극적 교사정체성을 교사소진의 요인으로 꼽았다. 이 논문의 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 교사소진의 공적인 요인은 신자유주의와 개인주의로 볼 수 있고, 이를 해결하기 위해서는 공동체주의가 필요하다. 둘째, 교사소진의 사적인 요인은 소극적 교사정체성으로 볼 수 있고, 이를 해결하기 위해서는 적극적 교사정체성이 필요하다. 연구자는 이와 같은 연구결과가 실현되기 위해서는 다음과 같은 내용의 변화가 필요하다고 주장한다. 첫째, 학교전담경찰제도의 전면적인 확충이 필요하다. 둘째, 교사들의 물리적 근무 여건에 대한 처우개선이 필요하다. 셋째, 학교 단위의 교사연대가 필요하다

The purpose of this paper is to approach the factors of teacher burnout from a philosophical perspective and propose causes and solutions. The researcher reviewed previous studies to identify the factors contributing to teacher burnout and identified neoliberalism and individualism as public factors, while passive teacher identity was considered a private factor. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the public factors of teacher burnout can be attributed to neoliberalism and individualism, and the solution lies in embracing communitarianism. Second, the private factor of teacher burnout is passive teacher identity, which can be addressed by fostering an active teacher identity. The researcher argues that the following changes are necessary for these research findings to be realized. First, a comprehensive expansion of the School Police Officer (SPO) system is needed. Second, improvements in the physical working conditions of teachers are required. Third, a teacher solidarity system at the school level is necessary.
