This paper examines the evolving paradigms in culture, arts, and humanities education by analyzing cases from the 2023 senior citizen humanities programs implemented by the Korean Library Association and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The first case involves programs conducted at S Library and D Library, which provided elderly learners with an opportunity to revisit and understand Renaissance classics, particularly Shakespeare, from a modern perspective. The second case focuses on exploring new ecological perspectives necessary in an era of environmental pollution and on discovering healing energy in nature. Programs like Wisdom School and Humanities on the Road, which aim to derive insights from classical literature and nature, serve as a driving force for seniors to actively design their own lives and will continue to have a positive impact on the whole communities.
