본 논문은 최근 10년간 『차엽과학』에 게재된 754편의 논문을 분석하여 중국 차학 연구의 동향과 발전 경향을 파악하고 향후 전망을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로는 논문의 키워드 분석 및 학과별, 연구기관별, 연구자별 논문 게재 현황을 정리하여 주요 연구 분야의 발전 추세를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 최근 차학연구는 차식물학(50.7%), 차화학(20.5%), 제다가공(13.6%), 차종합이용(7.3%), 차품평(5.1%), 차산업(2.8%) 등의 분야에서 진행되고 있으며, 특히 차식물학과 차화학 연구가 가장 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 연구 기관별로는 중국농업과학원 차엽연구소(214편), 호남농업대학(90편), 복건농업대학(72편) 등이 주요 연구기관으로 확인되었다. 향후 차학 연구는 스마트 기술 적용, 차의 기능성 연구, 디지털 차산업 구축, 국제 차 시장과의 연계 등다학제적 융합을 통한 발전이 예상되며, 전통적인 농학 중심에서 벗어나 산업·경제·기술적 접근이 강화될 것으로 전망된다.
This study analyzes tea science research trends and developments in China over a 10-year period by examining 754 research papers published in the Journal of Tea Science (茶叶科学) from 2015 to 2024. The primary objective is to identify key research areas, assess contributions by institutions and scholars, and forecast future directions in tea science. The study employs keyword analysis and categorization by academic disciplines, research institutions, and authors to determine the evolving focus of tea science research. The findings indicate that research in tea science has predominantly focused on tea plant science (50.7%), tea chemistry (20.5%), tea processing (13.6%), tea utilization (7.3%), tea evaluation (5.1%), and the tea industry (2.8%). Among these, tea plant science and tea chemistry emerged as the most actively studied fields. In terms of institutional contributions, the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (214 papers), the Hunan Agricultural University (90 papers), and the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (72 papers) were identified as the leading research institutions. Looking ahead, tea science research is expected to expand beyond traditional agricultural studies, incorporating smart technology applications, functional tea research, digital tea industry development, and integration with global tea markets. The field is anticipated to evolve through interdisciplinary approaches, moving beyond conventional agricultural research to embrace industrial, economic, and technological perspectives.
