노인의 경제활동 참여가 성공적 노화에 미치는 관계에서 사회적 자본의 매개효과

The mediating effect of social capital in the relationship between the elderly's participation in economic activities on successful aging

본 연구는 충북지역을 중심으로 노인의 경제활동 참여가 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향에서 사회적자본의 매개효과를 실증적으로 검증하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2025년 2월 1일부터 2월 28일까지 4주간에 걸쳐 충북지역에 거주하고 있는 229명을 대상으로 설문조사 후 원자료에 대해 빈도분석, Pearson 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 통해 얻은 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변수 간 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 노인의 경제활동 참여는 성공적 노화, 사회적자본과 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 노인의 경제활동 참여와 성공적 노화의 관계에서 사회적 자본의 유의미한 매개효과가 확인되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 노인복지 정책 및 실천을 위한 제언을 덧붙였다.

The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the mediating effect of social capital in the effect of the elderly's participation in economic activities on successful aging, centering on the Chungbuk region. To this end, frequency analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were conducted on the original data after a survey of 229 people living in the Chungbuk region for 4 weeks from February 1 to February 28, 2025. The main research results obtained through the analysis are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between major variables, the elderly's participation in economic activities had a significant positive correlation with successful aging and social capital. Second, a significant mediating effect of social capital was confirmed in the relationship between the elderly's participation in economic activities and successful aging. Based on the above research results, suggestions for welfare policies and practices for the elderly were added.
