Development of Career Coaching Model for College Students Based on Career Construction Perspective

이 연구의 목적은 진로 구성주의 기반 대학생 진로코칭 모델을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구 문제 두 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 진로 구성주의에 기반한 대학생 진로코칭 모델의 구성요소는 무엇인가? 둘째, 진로 구성주의에 기반한 대학생 진로코칭 모델은 타당하게 구성되었는가? 연구 방법으로는 선행연구를 통한 문헌 고찰과 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(FGI) 그리고 3차에 걸친 델파이 조사를 진행하였다. 델파이 조사 결과는 항목별로 통계 처리하여 평균, 표준편차, 내용타당도, 수렴도, 합의도 등을 분석하였고, 이를 바탕으로 대학생 진로코칭 모델을 완성하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, APCCA 진로코칭 모델은 대학생의 진로 정체성 확립을 이루게 한다. 둘째, APCCA 코칭 모델은 진로 구성주의에 기반한 대화 과정을 포함하고 있다. 셋째, APCCA 진로코칭 모델은 통합형 코칭 모델로 완성되었다. 더불어 이론적 기반이 갖추어진 대학생 진로코칭 프로그램은 효과성 측면에서도 긍정적인 기대를 가능하게 할 것이다. 제시된 코칭 모델은 대학생이 진로코칭을 경험함으로 자신의 진로 정체성을 확립하도록 고안되었으며, 앞으로 대학생 진로 프로그램 개발과 진로 관련 연구의 발전을 위한 기초연구로 활용될 것으로 기대한다

The primary objective of this study was to develop a career coaching model for college students based on career construction theory. To achieve this, the study addresses two key research questions: What are the essential components of a career construction-based career coaching model for college students? Is the proposed career construction-based career coaching model theoretically valid? To identify the key components of the model, this study conducted a comprehensive literature review and focus group interviews (FGI). Additionally, a panel of 21 career coaching experts was assembled, and a three-round Delphi study was conducted. The study’s key conclusions are as follows: The APCCA Career Coaching Model facilitates the establishment of career identity among college students. The APCCA Coaching Model incorporates dialogic processes grounded in career construction theory. This integration allows for a more effective approach to developing career coaching programs within higher education, surpassing traditional fragmented methodologies. Furthermore, a theoretically grounded career coaching program is expected to enhance its overall effectiveness and impact. This study presents the APCCA Career Coaching Model as a structured approach to supporting college students in developing their career identities through coaching experiences. It is anticipated that this model will serve as a foundational study for future research and the development of career coaching programs tailored to college students.
